The book is on a donation only basis. Anything received goes to help families with a loved on who suffers from PTSD.
I have almost completed 2 of my books. I am moving a lot faster with this self-publishing thing. I just never run out of things to say. Then I found out everything I had ever learned in my life had been wrong. So to be fair to everyone I just completely restarted the books I was looking to have published.
There will be some excellent fundraisers coming up very soon. I am considering signing with a couple of partners to help keep things moving. I am also right in the middle of trying to start my own home-based business. Along with homeschooling 2 girls, and taking care of a disabled Veteran is a pretty full time job as it Iis. It has all been paying off nicely though.
I have been accepted into PEACE University to complete executive leadership training, along with safety and security training. I received a partial scholarship, but I have been so busy I have not been able to work on my crowdfunding for the rest of the tuition. I may have to catch them next semester. For now I have free online courses I need to complete.
As of now I am certified through Easter Seals as a Veteran caregiver, and peer support member. I also have the whole family signed up for NAMI the National Alliance for Mental Illness. We have taken the pledge to remain #StigmaFree we have decided to #BetheChange. #ProjectAcceptance #NAMI. I plan on having a resource list up in the next week or so. I will list programs for care, groups, peer advocates, and free accredited training. I will end with #OperationMusic if you are not aware of this non-profit they are devoted to helping Veterans and others with disabilities heal with music.
